A passion project that turned into something more

What started as a personal passion for creating beautiful ponds and water features soon grew into a full-fledged breeding operation when we couldn’t find the quality goldfish we sought for our own aquariums and water features.

Mark Jones, owner of Brisbane Goldfish, has a deep-rooted passion for fish and aquatic ecosystems, stemming from a long family history of ichthyologists. With over 30 years of experience in aquaculture, he has been involved in projects ranging from growing plankton to breeding a variety of marine and freshwater fish species.

His expertise extends to a thorough understanding of fish biology, behaviour and diseases, ensuring that your aquatic environments are in expert hands.
