At this size, you can generally expect your Comets to be around 1.5-2.5 years old and will have grown more into their gorgeous colouring. Indoor aquarists can enjoy interacting with them through the glass and watching them grow. If you’re a new pond owner, these are a great addition if you?e got your pond planted out. If you don?, consider adding some lilies for cover as outdoor pond owners do have to consider predatory birds. At this size, established lilies and additional planting would be recommended as these fish are incredibly quick, they just need shelter.
